Water

Water users are dependent on the supplier in their area and there are no opportunities to 'shop around'. The term water includes sewerage, trade effluent, surface water charges, natural abstraction and discharge to nature. Charges are generally fixed and inflexible.

With this in mind, our surveys and investigations include the following :- 

  • A review of historic billing to establish if this reflects usage and demands.

  • A breakdown of data to confirm that the actual onsite usage matches the volume being used to eliminate possible leakage or waste, fast or slow running meters.

  • On-site surveys and tests where appropriate to establish accuracy of metering and data in general.

  • Comparing like with like within industries on a national basis. Suppliers in different areas do not necessarily work to the same criteria.

We undertake all negotiations with suppliers on your behalf. This may include negotiations for allowances; credits & refunds, assessed option agreements and trade effluent.

The work is carried out at no cost to you. Only when we achieve savings, refunds or credits on your behalf, will we participate in these savings, credits or refunds.
