Tariff Analysis
Energy management concerns selecting the right supplier at the right time in order to create a price-efficient contract. However the complexities of electricity bills in particular present further opportunities to save money through the analysis of the different factors which make up the charge. These factors may include capacity levels, power factor, tariff structures, voltage levels and load factor analysis.
The concept of tariff analysis extends to gas and water, where similar complexities exist. During the initial review of a client's costs, identifying these opportunities can sometimes generate energy savings of up to 20%.
Analysis and Reporting
When we take on a new client or a client presents us with a new site to manage, tariff analysis becomes a primary focus. However, we review all of the tariff components for every energy supply on a 6-month basis in order to ensure that there have been no changes in either the consumption of energy or in the terms and conditions of the supplier which could generate a cost-saving opportunity.
